Back from Nawlins

A Grim Milestone: my 100th post.

We start our with photos from the final leg of the journey. The trip back home. This is St. Richard, at his Parish in Jackson, MS. The church is very much "in the spirit of Vatican II" which you can see immediately upon entering. The whole idea of the building is that of a castle with a moat and bridge. The "moat" was some shubbery.

This here is Leon and I with William and Gerald. They and their mother opened their home to us to stay for one night on our way home.

The next night found us in South Bend where we stayed in Windmoor the Opus Dei residence. This is their chapel.

The following morning we ate at "Bibbler's" aka the original pancake house.

This is from inside the Basilica at Notre Dame where we had Sunday mass.

The ND Grotto. Jason, Zach, and Fr. Chas.
