I mean, Clerical celibacy is a discipline which certainly has its pros and cons. It's not part of the semper idem, unchanging doctrines and dogmas of the church, just a discipline. I however don't see a need to change the rules at this point. Being a priest is a 24-7 job. It wouldn't fair to the family. I could say alot more about this, but no one's gonna read it so I'm sure it doesn't matter.
