PETA
More disgusting displays of anti-Christianity...
this time by PETA in Austria. Comparing the use of animals for food to the Crucifixion of Christ is their idea of a good way to promote their ideas.
In their mockery of the crucifixion, they did however stumble on some truth by seeking to make a billboard featuring a bloody crucified lamb in Australia. Christ is the Lamb of God. This is especially evident in Revelation.
This isn't the first time PETA stooped this low though...
I once drove by a billboard with the Virgin Mary holding a Chicken. The tag-line was "Go Vegetarian. It's an Immaculate Conception."
Why do people mock Christianity? Could it have something to with the fact that we don't start riots when they do?
A bigger question is: Why does PETA think this will work? Mocking someone's belief system which has nothing to do with the issue you are pushing will not lead people to want to take your side on the issue or to even listen to you.
Example:
PETA is holding a rally. I throw meat with tracts promoting fair labor tied to them at the PETA people. Are the PETA people going to want to listen to what I have to say about anything let alone workers' rights? Of course not.
Mmm. Meat.
Maybe we should go to PETA meetings and hold barbecues outside?
I like barbecues...
Or we could just ignore them. We have bigger fish to fry such as Planned Parenthood.

5 Comments:
but the idea of a barbeque outside a peta rally really does sound fun.
How about a BBQ wrapped in a peta. I like peta. Bread that is. UF
