"Safe Sex" Day

Today on the Diag young Jewish men and women were reading names of Holocaust victims to raise awareness.

Then the "Safe Sex" people came along. And started playing loud sex-themed music.
In addition to being extremely rude to the Jewish group. They were pretty much rude to everyone else. Handing out condoms of course and promoting what they think is "safe sex." Of course Planned Parenthood was there. Stonewall Democrats and regular Democrats were there.
A Doctor was signing prescriptions for "emergency contraception."

Isn't "emergency contraception" the exact opposite of safe sex?

They were also promoting "choice," which is known by pro-lifers as what it is, murder.

So a friend knowing of this impending "safe sex" day got some people together to wear pro-abstinence T-shirts and hand out pro-abstinence information. I took part in it, since I don't have anything to do anyway. I hope that a few people will consider abstinence as a result of our work. Some of us were even interviewed by the Michigan Daily. So I expect the girls to be misrepresented in the paper tomorrow. (I'm very cynical about our campus paper.) If we even helped a few people choose abstinence I think it was worth it. It was so beautiful out today too; it was nice to go outside for once.
