A Convenient Myth

"The Scientific consensus is that we are causing Global Warming."
-Albert Gore, An Inconvenient Truth (may not be an exact quote, why would I waste my time and money on that crap?)

Global Warming, as we think we know it, doesn't exist. And I am not the only one trying to make people open up their eyes and see the truth. But few listen, despite the fact that I was the first Canadian Ph.D. in Climatology and I have an extensive background in climatology, especially the reconstruction of past climates and the impact of climate change on human history and the human condition. Few listen, even though I have a Ph.D, (Doctor of Science) from the University of London, England and that for 32 years I was a Professor of Climatology at the University of Winnipeg. For some reason (actually for many), the World is not listening. Here is why.
I mean, should we trust the man who claimed he invented the internet and has no scientific knowledge whatsoever to tell us things about science?

In 10 years when average temps are 3 degrees less than they were last year, I won't say I told you so, but I might spray an aerosol can into the air to celebrate. I'll probably just forget though. If they are 3 degrees higher, well then I guess this guy and I were wrong. Anyhow, read the article. It is eye-opening and good and true.

(I dropped in from Conservative Princess' blog)

Here's an interesting tidbit about Gore, the global warming profit (yes, profit):

Profit of Doom

The story also links to an article in The Tennesseean. The short version of the story is: Gore is Chairman of a company called Generation Investment Management - a "carbon offset" company.

The question to ask when things look fishy is "cui bono?". Clearly, the "cui" who gets "bono" from global warming is our friend, Al Gore.
