Tar Babies are deviant

Maybe if the Governor of Massachusetts named for a piece of baseball equipment had said that he believed tar babies were deviant he would remove himself from office, or does that only happen in Maryland?

I think it's rediculous that he has to apologize for saying that a sticky situation was a tar baby. It still isn't quite as rediculous as this, though.

This reminds me of the niggardly incident.
